During his high point of the mid 1980's, he claimed that his weekly-released (not weakly-released!) 7 inch-er was a "must have" and for those ladies that were really lucky, he could produce a 12 inch extended play every-so-often that would promise to get them "in the mood." 30 years later he still brings back happy memories that fell in love with him and his style.

With an enforced free weekend off before the highly-anticipated Quarter Final vs Old Parmiterians, you would expect that it has been a quiet time for the Gaffer - but this is just Hearsay. "If You Were Here Tonight" mused The Gaffer during one of his impromptu Thursday evening planning sessions, "you would see the passion of the lads." We discussed the pros and cons of the last match. What's Missing from the past couple of weeks has been unlucky ricochets from the woodwork and some agricultural challenges from the opposition that has resulted in a deluge of injuries. The man In The Middle will determine what is fair and just. Next Saturday in the Sunshine & Rain, Let's Get Together and Grind out a result. Let us prove that the optimism of our early season success is not Fake and celebrate Our First Christmas together as a winning team - after all at White Roding 45s we have Never Knew Love Like This Before.
